We have dozens of ideas for how we might expand and deepen The Inkwell, but we also want to be careful not to try to do too much.

For now, we want to ensure that the space is nourishing and sustainable for all involved.

The vision for The Inkwell is that it become a collaborative project, guided by a small group of heart-centred creative souls.

If you are interested in being part of the creative team (known as The Inkwell Collective), please have a look at some of the options below.

Ways to Be Involved

    Host a Writing Session

    These weekly co-writing sessions (‘Writing Wednesdays’) are opportunities to gather with other writers and harness the energy of the group to focus and get some writing DONE every week!

    Hosting a session simply means opening the Zoom room, welcoming people as they arrive, sharing an optional prompt (for those looking for direction), and admitting people as the session progresses.

    Then, at the 45-min mark, the host guides a short (15-min) sharing session, where people can either briefly share a thought or short excerpt in the chat or by raising their hand and speaking.

    SKILLS REQUIRED: Hosting a Zoom meeting, holding space and guiding a sharing session (which might involve gently keeping people to a prescribed timeframe).
